Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has revealed that Alexis Sanchez will not be available for this weekend’s trip to Stoke City in the Premier League.
Wenger, speaking at his Wednesday’s press conference, confirmed that Sanchez was back in training but would not be fit enough for the game.
The Chile striker is however expected to face Liverpool next week.
Wenger also confirmed Jack Wilshere is nearing a return to action and should remain with Arsenal for the season.
Wilshere played for the Under-23s earlier this week and the Gunners boss is happy with his progress.
“It is good that he is back and available. He is not far away.
“I plan for him to be here for the season, after we will see,” he said.
