Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw by second-tier Gimnastic on Friday, in their first match since Neymar left for Paris Saint-Germain.
New manager Ernesto Valverde, left out Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique from the side.
The Catalans fell behind in the 11th minute, when Omar Perdomo set up Manu Barreiro to score past Jasper Cillessen from close range.
Paco Alcacer scored from a free kick to save Barcelona’s blushes in the friendly with the second-tier team.
Barca won three games in the U.S. against the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid. They complete their pre-season schedule with the Joan Gamper Trophy against Chapecoense on Monday.
They will then face Real Madrid in the Spanish Supecopa on August 13.
