The All Progressives Congress, APC, in the United Kingdom has said that reconciling aggrieved members of the party was crucial to its success in the 2019 general elections.
The UK APC also applauded President Muhammadu for appointing a national leader of party, Bola Tinubu as Chairman, Reconciliation Committee.
Spokesperson of the chapter, Jacob Ogunseye, said this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja.
The statement also described the Tinubu’s assignment as an herculean task.
It also said no individual within the party can best handle the task than Tinubu, who is one of its leaders as he must not fail in the assignment.
“The reconciliation of aggrieved party members is very crucial for the success of the party at all levels, most especially as the election year draws nearer.
“The best person for the task has been given the job and we are confident that we will come out stronger.
“It will be wrong to say that we have not noticed conflicts in some chapters of the party across Nigeria.
“But with the personality of Tinubu, these disputes will definitely become a part of the history of our great party.”
