UPDATE: Court Jails Evans’ Gang Members For 41 Years Imprisonment

An Ikeja High court sitting in Lagos State on Monday, condemned two previous pack individuals from extremely rich person criminal, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, otherwise called Evans to 41 years in jail. 

Equity Oluwatoyin Taiwo condemned the convicts, 32-year-old Kelvin Emenike Ukoh and Emeka Obasi, 33 over the snatching of one Ugoje Jude, a transportation specialist, and his staff, Miss Piriye Gogo on August 3, 2012.

The convicts were summoned in 2013 nearby three others: Uche Igbani, 28, Chibuzor Osuagwu, 33 and a 36-year-old lady, Onowu Ngozi, on a 14 check charge pestering on connivance, grabbing, furnished theft and murder.

The posse had grabbed Ugoje and another staff, Piriye Gogo who were taken to an obscure goal by their pioneer, Evans.

Portraying her experience under the steady gaze of the court, Miss Gogo said that the three men hailed them with rifles on their way home and that she was relatively assaulted inside the auto, yet was spared by her month to month menstrual period.

While being driven in prove under the watchful eye of the court, Gogo unveiled that amid the snatching, one of the criminals, Obasi, came into the auto, in the wake of hauling her supervisor out for arrangement at an undisclosed area, and began stroking with her bosom.

In the wake of tuning in to them, the preliminary judge, Justice Taiwo indicted and condemned Ukoh and Obasi to 5, 15 and 21 years for scheme, capturing and furnished burglary separately, while the other three were released and absolved by court.

The judge held that the arraignment couldn't demonstrate that those cleared Igbani, Osuagwu and Ngozi were connected to the claimed charges of murder, intrigue, capturing and furnished theft.
