A Nigerian soldier has narrated how he dismissed a lady who walked up to him to preach and invite him to her church.Edward E Onoriode said he was at a car wash when the lady met him. He told her he wasn't interested in coming to her church but she tried to convince him. So he came up with a plan that shocked her into silence.He wrote:Yesterday, I went to the car wash to get my bus and wifey car washed. At the car wash, I met this young lady who also came to wash her car.She walked up to me and we had the following conversation:She: Good afternoon brother, hope I'm not bothering you?Me: Good afternoon ma'am. Not at all, you ain't bothering me.She: I actually want to share the word of God with you, hope you don't mind?Me: Sorry ma'am. I'm not in the mood to listen to any preaching at the moment.She: That's OK. Can I invite you to my church. It's not far from here. I'm sure you live around here, we are having a special program tomorrow and you're invited.Me: "Smiles" I don't want to disappoint you. If I tell you I'll come, I lie. Believe me, I won't come.She: Why?Me: I won't come because I'm not a Christian, and I don't do church.She: Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship with God, a way of life....and besides, everybody are invited to attend this special program be it Muslim, Hindu or any other religion.....Me: I'm an Ogboni member and we're having a special occult program tonight probably by 1am. I'd be glad if you can avail yourself. Everyone is invited.She:.....................She was lost of words. ..She want me to attend her special church program but she can't avail herself to attend my own ogboni special occult program that will kick off by 1am.
