The Lagos state Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team DSVRT has denied reports online that a 23-year-old rape suspect, Sunkanmi Akinsero, has been released from police custody. Sunkanmi allegedly raped a 5 year old girl through her vagina and anus at their home at No. 47 Erede Street, Ekerube in Abaranje area of Ikotun, Lagos where they reside. Read here.
