There are so many Nigerians films going to the cinemas in the next few weeks, and it’s hard to keep track but there is one that every Nollywood insider is talking about, it’s THE DELIVERY BOY by Adekunle Adejuyigbe.Here are 7 reasons why Nollywood insiders and enthusiasts are talking about this film:1. The movie screened last year at some film festivals in Nigeria and EVERYONE agrees it’s the most outstanding Nigerian film they have ever seen, some people even called it a MASTERPIECE.2. The delivery boy tells an unusual story- it’s not a comedy and it’s unpredictable, but it tells a down to earth story of a young suicide bomber who runs away the night before a suicide mission, and on his way, he meets a young prostitute and everything gets complicated from there.3. The producers have released two interesting trailers, one started as a monologue showing a young man (the hero) in a dark room sharpening his butcher knife delivering one of the most powerful monologues ever written for a Nigerian film. The second teaser focuses on the performance of the lead actor and teases us about the possibility of another trailer coming soon. Both trailers are so beautifully edited you’d want to watch the movie.4. The film doesn’t look like a Nigerian film, good cinematography is no longer new to Nigerian films but this takes it to a whole new level. You’ll need to see it to understand.5.  The director does something most people have asked for that most Nigerian film directors don’t do, he gives a new actor the chance to shine - and he shines really bright. Jamal Ibrahim who plays the lead character is so intense it’s unbelievable. The film also stars famous actors like Jemima Osunde, Charles Etubiebi, Jude Chukwuka, Kehinde Fasuyi, etc6. The language spoken in the film is mostly pidgin and Hausa, and we hardly see movies shot in the Hausa Language at the cinemas.7.
