Ugbe Dominic, a 200 level Student of the department of Guidance and Counseling, faculty of Education, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Calabar Campus, drowned during a pool party. The pool party which was reportedly hosted by his department,kj took place at Jacaranda Hotel and suites, Calabar, on Friday 10th May.
It was gathered that the Obudu born student consumed excessive water. By the time he was rushed to the hospital and medical examinations carried out, he had passed on. Dominic's friends have taken to Facebook to mourn his death.
