Twitter users have accused the Nigerian police of raiding Maria Stopes in Surulere, Lagos, today and trying to arrest the doctor for allowing women get contraceptives. According to reports, when the police officers arrived at the clinic without a warrant and saw women waiting to get contraceptives, they tried to arrest them after informing them that birth control is a form of abortion. A Twitter user who witnessed the incident said that the police raid is illegal and called for Nigerians to speak up and condemn the attack on women's reproductive health. See the tweets below.
