A woman has narrated how her proud dad made her dance out on her traditional wedding day to the sound of her qualifications and her achievements, and not to the regular traditional marriage songs. @AdakuUfere tweeted: "At my traditional wedding my father had the MC read out my entire profile...awards, degrees, Fellowships everything. I didn’t dance out to Ada Ada or any song, I danced out to welcome my in-law’s to the sound of my professional bio." She said she was so embarrassed by it but those who were present at the wedding praised her dad for it and said it was indeed a defining moment for women, one that shows they are more than a commodity or belonging.
