The media personality pointed out that even though most women do things they don't do in their own houses to please their prospective mother-in-laws, there is no guarantee their partner will be marrying them. Narrating how she underwent same experience with an ex-boyfriend's mother, Toke Makinwa recounted being called “Akebaje” simply because she doesn't wash plates when she comes around. According to her, she felt it was pet name but found out it was an insult after she asked an aunt.
