Tammy Abraham has turned down Chelsea’s latest contract offer.
The England star is looking for parity with the club’s other stars before committing his future to the club.
Abraham has seen a string of players pledge their allegiance to the Blues with Reece James, Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Billy Gilmour all signing up for the long-term.
However, Abraham has seen the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi cash in big-style in the past 12 months and is determined to hold out for a deal around that level.
Hudson-Odoi agreed a new contract with Chelsea last September which was worth an estimated £180,000-a-week.
Abraham, 22, has scored 15 goals already this season and has forced his way into the plans of England boss Gareth Southgate.
He has two years left to run on his current contract, so there is no immediate rush but with the clock ticking Chelsea have a decision to make on how highly they rate the striker.

Abraham has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge, continuing the form that saw him plunder 26 goals in 40 games in all competitions on loan at Aston Villa last season.
But he has struggled for fitness of late with an ankle problem, which has seen Olivier Giroud profit from a run in the team under Frank Lampard.
