I started bleaching because I thought I was ugly and being black was dirty - Mzbel

Ghanaian singer, Mzbel has revealed that she started bleaching because she thought she was ugly and dirty because she was black.  According to Mzbel, she suffered horrible side effects years later because of the decision she hinged on "self-hate". She further revealed that she shared her story and got help. Mzbel said she has now learnt to say that she is "beautiful black woman".  She wrote;  I used to think I was ugly, I thought being black is dirty, so I took to skin bleaching and suffered horrible side effects years later. But that is the result of self-hate. I shared my story and got help, now I've learned to say: "You know what?
