Newcastle new owners are willing to make a generous effort to create an ambitious project and have therefore set his sights on two of Barça’s starts: Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann.
Barcelona will be hoping to generate some income to help them make the desperate move for Neymar and Lautaro Martinez.
And that extra help may come from a very unexpected place, Newcastle, as their new owner is keen to take one of their stars with him next season.
Both Coutinho and Griezmann are on Prince Mohamed Bin Salman’s ambitious agenda, according to the Daily Mirror. He has made a flying start, promising a spectacular payout in the next transfer window for Newcastle to make a number of leaps forward.
In fact, sources claim he is considering Massimiliano Allegri or Lucien Favre for the position of manager, while other big names have been linked to the club, such as Edinson Cavani.
Signing big players would legitimise his intention of turning Newcastle into the Premier League’s new big club.

In the case of Coutinho, Chelsea have been reported to be close to striking a deal with the Brazilian.
Griezmann, for his part, is not ready to leave Barcelona, a fact he made clear when he began to be talked about as the key to making Neymar’s return from PSG cheaper.
