ICC invites creative community for a unique cricket contest

ICC invites creative community for a unique cricket contest

International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched a project to celebrate the sport of cricket. ICC has invited the creative industry involving artists to participate in the contest.

“We count the artist and creative community as fans for our sport. These are challenging times for everyone. The pause in all cricket is a mere footnote to the global disruption we are all facing that is impacting every aspect of our lives.

The ICC recognizes how difficult an environment it is for everyone, and we want to do our small bit to bring a smile to cricket fans around the world, celebrating talented and passionate artists and designers while we’re doing that” said ICC post. Cricket is a sport of many moving parts, fueled by the passion of its players and fans.

Art can capture a unique, emotional, human side of our game, and we invite anyone with an idea to send us their creative interpretations of the sport and its participants, of all level.

Send us your artwork, your animations, cartoons, graphics, or any other art form that helps depict our great game.

Ten chosen artists will each receive US$500 from the ICC and have their work showcased and credited across ICC digital channels. We hope this initiative can be a small positive for some of our community and bring a smile to cricket fans the world over. Please submit all work you wish to be considered to social@icc-cricket.com
