Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi has said that he is ready to grab the opportunity of playing in England, should offers come from there, Sportinglife.ng reports.
The 27-year-old, who had unsuccessful attempt in joining Birmingham City three years ago, made this known in an Instagram live chat with Nigeria Super Eagles media.
The central midfielder also revealed that he rejected an offer from a club in the Major League Soccer MLS before he decided to stay in Turkey.
In January, the Super Eagles midfielder signed a six-month contract with an option for a further one year with Turkish Super Lig club Denizlispor, just hours after his contract was terminated at Trabzonspor, a club he joined from Italian club Lazio in August 2016 and made 79 league appearances scoring seven goals.
”I had an offer from the MLS before signing for Denzilispor, but weighed up the options and decided to remain in Turkey.
“When I joined Denzilispor I saw it as an opportunity to express myself. I was coming back from injury at Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor were in a unique position, first in the table and chasing a champions League place, opportunities were limited.
