Atletico Madrid’s players returned to training this week and have been undergoing medical examinations, with Diego Costa, Joao Felix and Thomas Lemar doing them on Thursday.
The club’s fitness coaches have scheduled some intensive exams, including check-ups and blood, cardiology and respiratory tests.
Marcos Llorente, Alvaro Morata and Ivan Saponjic were the first to undergo medicals at the Clinica Universidad de Navarra on Monday.

Sixty percent of the players have passed the tests and all of Diego Simeone’s men seem to be in perfect condition ahead of LaLiga Santander’s return.
The last to undergo the tests on Friday will be Antonio Adan, Santiago Arias, Felipe Augusto, Koke, Hector Herrera and Vitolo.
