Influential broadcaster beIN SPORTS is attempting to halt the takeover.

Now it appears another buyer has emerged, per the Daily Telegraph.

The paper claims American entrepreneur Henry Mauriss is ready to make a formal offer.

He may have a much better chance of approval, compared to Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-led consortium.
