Liverpool fans furious over ‘cheap-looking’ new jersey

Liverpool fans seem to be unhappy by the design of their new home jersey ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Nike’s first kit for Liverpool is on sale for £70 with the ‘Vapor’ edition being available for just under £100.

Liverpool’s first highly-anticipated kit since Nike struck a deal with Liverpool has finally been released.

The new home kit features a white and teal collar and sleeve cuff, which, along with the red, are the three colours used throughout Liverpool’s history. Teal is also reminiscent of the shade of the Liver Bird that stands atop the Liver Building.

However, the new home kit for the 2020/21 Premier League season hasn’t been universally loved by neutral and Liverpool fans alike, brandishing the shirt bland and ‘cheap-looking’.

There are two versions available to purchase, the match day ‘Vapor’ shirt and the ‘Stadium’ shirt.

The ‘Stadium’ shirt is the cheaper of the two, coming in at £69.95, while the ‘Vapor’ shirt will set fans back £99.95.

The details included in the ‘Vapor’ shirt are absent from the ‘Stadium’ edition, which some fans believe looks cheap and poorly made.

The fans don’t seem to be happy with the new kit, with many fans on Twitter voicing out their frustrations.
