Premier League returnee West Brom have joined chase for Nigerian-born QPR forward Eberechi Eze reportedly wanted by a number of other clubs in the English topflight.
According to latest reports coming out of UK, Crystal Palace remain in pole position to secure the signature of sought-after forward.
At the last count, Eze has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs after a hugely impressive season in the Championship, with the likes of Leeds United and Aston Villa interested.
However, West Brom are reportedly keen to land Eze with the Baggies claiming to have ‘held informal talks’ with QPR over a potential deal for the 22-year-old.
The Baggies are eyeing a number of key signings for Slaven Bilic’s squad after winning promotion to the top-flight.
Interestingly, Palace have already had one bid rejected for Eze, but Football Insider report club chiefs remain ‘confident’ of bringing him to Selhurst Park this summer.

Addition reports suggest a fee of around £16m could be enough to convince QPR to part with Eze, who was released by Milwall in 2016.
During the just-concluded season, Eze grabbed 14 goals and eight assists in 46 appearances as QPR finished 13th in the table, including a stunner at The Hawthorns on the final day of the campaign.
