‘Koeman wants Salah at Barcelona’

Barcelona are set to test Liverpool’s resolve with a major bid for Liverpool hitman, Mohamed Salah.

Salah kicked off Liverpool’s Premier League title defence with a hat-trick in victory over Leeds United.

And Dutch football agent Sjaak Swart has said Ronald Koeman wants to sign Salah.

Ajax’s all-time appearance maker told voetbalzone.nl: “I know Koeman wants him – and I know Salah would like to go.”

Koeman needs to find a replacement for Luis Suarez, after telling the former Liverpool star to find himself a new club.

Koeman is also keen on Salah’s Reds teammate Gini Wijnaldum.
