Oghenekaro Etebo will not be on parade during the Super Eagles friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia no thanks to injury, Sportinglife.ng reports.
According to release on the Nigeria Football Federation official Twitter handle on Monday, October 5, the on-loan Stoke midfielder cropped the injury while in action in the Turkish Super Lig for Galatasaray in their loss at Kasimpasa on Sunday.

At the last count, Victor Osimhen has also been ruled out of action against the North Africans after he was left out due to Covid-19 concerns at Napoli.
The former Golden Eaglets forward’s spot has since been taken by in-form striker Paul Onuachu.

Other Eagles star expected to miss the friendly games are Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Joe Aribo.
Nigeria will trade tackles with reigning African champions Algeria on October 9 and Tunisia on October 13 at the Jacques Lemans Arena in Austria.
