Man Utd keeper Romero eyeing MLS move

Manchester United goalkeeper, Sergio Romero, is desperate to leave the club for regular first team football.

The Argentine veteran is now third choice at the club, and he knows he must play to get in the Argentina squad for future tournaments.

Now the 33-year-old is considering a move to MLS as a switch to Premier League side Everton did not materialize, per the Daily Mail.

Romero’s wife recently posted on Instagram about how United had let down her husband by not allowing him a move.

“Sergio Romero worked hard for his club. Last trophy they won, they lifted it with him,” she wrote.

“He helped the team reach 4 finals/semi-finals and then he was left on the bench only to lose them all. It is time for them to return the opportunity and let him go. Respect for once!”
