Abducted Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri Achdiocese, Most Rev. Doc. Moses Chikwe, and his driver, Ndubuisi Robert, have regained their freedom. Recall that the Bishop and his driver were abducted on December 27, 2020 while they were driving along World Bank – Umuguma road in Imo state. Confirming their safe release to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Orlando Ikeokwu, said the clergyman and his driver were released unhurt and without any ransom paid. Ikeowku said this was sequel to a sting operation by the men of the Imo State Police Command. The cleric's driver was however rushed to the hospital after their release so he could receive treatment for a deep cut inflicted on him by their abductors. The post Abducted Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri and his driver regain their freedom appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
