Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have split after nearly two years together. The 42-year-old singer and ’50 Shades Of Grey’ actress, 29, have been an item since late 2017, but it’s been reported that Chris has been telling friends their relationship ended last month. According to The Sun, “Chris and Dakota were very easygoing and always seemed really happy together. There was talk of engagement but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone.” Dakota has been pictured on numerous occasions with Chris’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who consciously broke up with him back in 2015. They hung out in LA back in April this year following the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Before that, they had spent important family holidays together. Dakota is also friends with Gwyneth’s new husband Brad Falchuk.
