Newcastle are through to this stage of the competition for the first time in 12 years but former City defender Micah Richards says Guardiola will be pleased with the draw.
‘We can’t be that harsh on Newcastle,’ said Richards. ‘My old manager Steve Bruce, he’ll have them compact, they’ll be up for it but it’s a good draw for City’.
