Company reacts after its Caucasian staff was caught on video lying that an "Africa American man" is threatening her life

The White woman who was caught on video calling 911 and caught on video calling 911 and lying that an African American man was threatening her life and her dog has been placed on administrative leave. The woman in the video was identified as Amy Cooper after another bird watcher who knows her revealed her identity. It was soon discovered that she works with Franklin Templeton. Her LinkedIn bio shows that she's the "Head of Insurance Investment Solutions at Franklin Templeton."  After the video went viral showing her trying to weaponize a black man's skin colour by lying to cops that there's "an African American man threatening my life and my dog" (read here), people began tagging Franklin Templeton, the company she works for. Franklin Templeton has now responded on Twitter. The statement reads: "We take these matters very seriously, and we do not condone racism of any kind. While we are in the process of investigating the situation, the employee involved has been put on administrative leave."  Meanwhile, people have continued to call for the arrest of Amy Cooper for making an unnecessary 911 call, lying to cops, endangering a black man's life, and choking her dog. The post Company reacts after its Caucasian staff was caught on video lying that an "Africa American man" is threatening her life appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
