Anthony Ojukwu, the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC has demanded justice for a nursing mother and her three months old child who were allegedly beaten up by a SARS officer known as ''Idowu SARS'' in Ibadan, Oyo state. In a video posted by Ojukwu, the SARS officer could be seen holding a pistol while the nursing mother was shouting at him. Photos shared by Ojukwu shows bruises and injury marks on the woman and her baby. Although details of the incident are still very sketchy, the nursing mum in a telephone interview posted online, said she did not attack the officer before he started assaulting her and threatening to ''waste her''. She said the SARS officer even bit her. She disclosed that her baby has been in pain since the incident happened. She is asking the public to help her get justice. In a post on Twitter, the NHRC boss asked the Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde and the Oyo state police command to ensure the SARS officer is punished.Gov@seyiamakinde, my team is on this but this report on a @PoliceNGSARS Officer popularly known as "Idowu Sars" who pulled up a gun & beat up a woman & her 3 month old baby in Ibadan is disheartening. Immediate action needs to be taken TOWARDS JUSTICE!More videos of "Idowu SARS" with his gun out in public, violating the rights of Nigerian citizens. The Oyo State government and @PoliceNG should not allow this to go unpunished. This kind of lawlessness costs lives and makes people lose faith in the force.'' he tweeted  Watch videos of the SARS official being confronted and the mother speaking below.      View this post on Instagram         Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC, Tony Ojukwu, demands justice for a woman and her three month old baby beaten up by a SARS official named "Idowu SARS" in Ibadan, Oyo state.A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) on Jun 4, 2020 at 10:04pm PDT      View this post on Instagram         Nursing mother assaulted by SARS officer popularly known as "Idowu SARS" in Ibadan Oyo state recounts what transpired.
