Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is set to be without three key players when his side take on Southampton in a Premier League tie on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium due to injury.
The three players are Sead Kolasinac, Bernd Leno and Emile Smith Rowe.
Arsenal confirmed this in a statement via their website on Friday.
Arsenal head to the game following a 2-1 demoralising defeat to Everton in their last Premier League game.
The statement read in part, “Left ankle. Sead sustained a significant injury to his left ankle playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina during the November international period. Sead is now running outside and is aiming to be back in full training in January.
“Bernd Leno – Right groin. Bernd sustained a groin issue in training last week and is being assessed ahead of Saturday’s match.
“Emile Smith Rowe – Right groin. Emile sustained a groin issue during the match against Manchester United last week and is being assessed ahead of Saturday’s match.”
The kick-off time for Arsenal vs Southampton is 4 pm.
